Sinnenas resa; A Journey Through The Senses

Starting in Dalarna, Sweden, moving down through Germany, and finally ending our journey on the Algarve coast of Portugal.

On our journey we meet seventeen different artists, who welcome us into their homes and studios. They share experiences and thoughts from their own life journeys.

Kjell takes us on a tour of Mora. Sophie shows us her favourite places in Gothenburg. Sam and Anders show us Kungsbacka and itʼs surroundings. Louis takes us to his favourite places in Berlin. Aurelia and Mark in Stuttgart, and Willems’ sculpture exhibition in Lagoa.

We will be present when Kerstin casts bronze sculptures at the Artists Collective Workshop in the old sugar refinery, Gothenburg, and also when Georg and Colin work with marble. In the moun- tains of Monchique, where Carlos lives and works, we taste delicacies such as Chicken Piri-Piri and the local schnapps Aquardente de Medronho. At Charneco in Carvoeiro we are invited to taste delicious seafood, and in Caramujeira, Glyn serves us lunch at his farmhouse. Finally we see Paulo’s favourite places in Faro, and Nuno and Meinke show us the eastern part of the Algarve, including the Ria Formosa nature reserve and the town of Olhoa. Also included are photographs of the Praia de Marinha coast, the Algarve Seco, around Onsala, and Särö Västerskog.
